Turn up the amps 'cause Tim is behind the kit. Tim doesn't hold back, in fact - he wails on the skins as he throws the back beat to the bands rock rhythms. The ability to add to the music with solid accents and fills that make you join in the fun, reveal that Tim does more than keep a beat - he explores the sound and adds to it. Slamming the skins are not all that he can do however - Tim sings, writes and occasionally picks up a guitar to pluck out a new tune. Songs such as I Don't Know How and Life As One show the diversity of his musical influences. Tim plays loud and hard rock rhythms with a syncopated soul. Musical roots from vastly different genres. One may consider his style high energy rock and roll power drumming.
During the 2006 Docs Who Rock show, Tim encountered a potentially devastating drum failure - the bass drum pedal snapped in two. Tim somehow kept the beat by actually kicking the bass drum. He played those drums to death - literally. Now that's Rock & Roll!
